A postgraduate in Child Development, Archana Jamdar has 25+ years of specialized experience in Early Childhood Care & Development. She has also received a B.Ed from Lady Irwin College, Delhi.

Archana was Head of Teacher Training in Arya Vidya Mandir for six years and was instrumental in developing the syllabus and pedagogy for the one year Diploma in ECCEd Subsequently, as Head of Academics at Zee Interactive Learning Systems, Archana had the opportunity to work through a network of Regional Academic Coordinators and Franchisee Heads to ensure scaling and consistency of pre-school curriculum across 500 preschool centers.

In 2008, Archana joined Edvance PreSchools Pvt. Ltd. as Head of Pedagogy and Teacher Training, a start up venture developed in collaboration with Eton House of Singapore: Asia’s largest chain of preschools.

Archana worked closely with senior Eton House professionals from Singapore and the Edvance Management team to transfer and contextualize the Eton House approach to early years. She was instrumental in setting up Vivero International and Serra International Pre schools, across Maharashtra and South India.

Archana has been fortunate through her career in getting exposure such as attending global conferences; workshops and a prestigious internationally recognized certification from CACHE (Council for Awards in Children’s care and Education) from the United Kingdom.

She has visited all the Eton House branches in Singapore to observe their best practices in action in actual classrooms, and has interacted with senior experts in the field of early years.

As a result of the international exposure Archana is inspired by the Reggio Emilia Project of Northern Italy and the International Baccalaureate Programs and believes in the constructivist approach towards teaching and learning.

In 2011 Archana has set up her own company Inspired Learning which provides consultancy services in the domain of ECD, setting up high quality early childhood centers.

She has been nominated by the academic council of SVT to be a professional expert as part of the Board of Studies.

Archana enjoys traveling and exploring new destinations, gardening on windowsill is her favorite pastime and she has been trained in Iyengar Yoga too.

She is the Vice President of AECED National. In this role she support’s AECED in advocacy for child’s right , capacity building of early childhood professionals, collaborations with international universities and organising National Conferences, webinars / seminars.
